Parking and Restrooms: Platteville, Tennyson
The BO loop follows County Road B and County Road O between Platteville and Tennyson. The County O section closest to Platteville also has an approximately 2 mile off-road paved bike path. This loop has the ultimate rural feel of SW-WI. Rolling hills and sharp curves keep this loop a definite for the bike enthusiast. Just ask any local cyclist – they will tell you it’s one of their favorites. This route is a classic example of the hilly terrain of the Driftless Area. The sharp curves make it necessary that you take your time in certain spots. On County O near Platteville you will go through a little unincorporated community called Cornelia. Feels like yesteryear when you go through little communities like this. You will cross two rivers on this loop, the Platte River on County Road B and the Little Platte River on County Road O.
